Lincoln Josley
Hailing from Grand Falls, Arizona and the lands of the Diné come the stunning melodies of Alton Tsosie, a singer in the Native American Church.
About Lincoln Josley
Yá’át’ééh family and friends from all directions. My name is Lincoln Josley. My clan is Deeshchii’nii (Start of the Red Streak People), born for Todich’ii’nii (Bitterwater People). I come from an area called Béésh hagééd (Coppermine, Arizona) located in the western part of the Navajo Nation. I am honored to be a part of my brother Alton Tsosie’s recording and by using my two sonny boys’ water drum. It’s with good thoughts, that Alton and I promote these songs for our many relatives that follow the Peyote way of life. It’s our wish that the songs can be utilized in a good way, to uplift the mind and spirit for yourself and loved ones within this challenging year. Continue to be safe in your everyday walk of life and always have faith, hope, love, and charity, my relatives. Thanks for listening and enjoy….Ahoka!
